Planned Litters

Sires are hand-selected for each dam based on health, genetics, temperament, structure, titles/awards, color compatibility, and overall breeding goals.

At YFL, we never manipulate or force a breeding cycle. We do not use hormone protocols, heat-inducing medications, or anything intended to “push” a dog into heat. Our girls come into season naturally, and Mother Nature decides the timing.
Sometimes our projections are spot-on, and other times cycles arrive earlier or later than expected. If you need an updated timeframe for a specific litter, please reach out directly to Mark Jr.

We are currently taking deposits on all of the following planned litters:

A Lifetime Commitment

Every YFL puppy comes with a written 36-month health guarantee, along with lifelong breeder support. Whether you need guidance during the transition home, training recommendations, or help navigating any stage of your dog’s life, we are always here as a resource.

We are also deeply committed to the well-being of every dog we bring into the world. As part of our Purchase Agreement, we require right of first refusal if you ever find yourself unable to keep your dog. This ensures that every YFL puppy has the best possible life, always.

Where Our Puppies Go

While roughly 70% of our puppies stay within a 3–4 hour radius of the Mid-Atlantic, we proudly place puppies across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Every single one of our puppies becomes a beloved family companion, but many go on to do even more.

On average, two puppies per litter are selected or trained for service, therapy, scent detection, emotional support, or related working roles. Another two puppies per litter typically join hunting families, where they excel in the field or on the water pursuing duck, geese, pheasant, and other game birds.
