We brought home a 8 week old Fox Red Labrador we named Zoe from YFL in 2022. Great temperament, excellent athletic ability, and clean bill of health all the way to this day; just like her mama Nelli. To me, finding a family friendly and healthy puppy was the top priority, but finding an ethical, caring, and respectable breeder was what really sold me. Mark and his family are nothing short of exceptional. We chose to have Mark Sr. do advanced training for a few weeks and in that time the difference was night and day. When you get a YFL Labrador - I cannot recommend this enough; even as an experienced pet owner, the jump start in development was an investment well spent for our household. Perfect leash control, great recall, and most importantly he spent the time to train US! I cannot recommend YFL any higher if you are looking for a forever friend, sporting companion, or brewery buddy like our Zoe.
Since I was a child, I always wanted a Labrador Retriever. With this being the right timing, I did a lot of research to find a reputable breeder. I came across Yates Family Labradors and they were FANTASTIC during the entire process! From the initial phone conversation with Mark Yates Jr. to go home day, the entire process was seamless. Yates Family Labradors clearly love what they do and have a passion for breeding healthy, well socialized, beautiful Labrador Retrievers. 100% would recommend.

The phone conversation was great, we learned about the family business and the dogs they breed. After picking up our pup, we have been in contact to ask questions and send pictures. You can tell how much Mark (Sr and Jr) care about each dog and puppy and take pride in what they do.
